The rack uses the PACKOUT™ locking mechanism, so it locks firmly into compatible bases. Once clicked in, it won’t detach during normal movement, including rolling stacks or vehicle transport. This will be fine for upright transport but may become unstable if the unit is tipped, laid flat, or bouncing heavily.

Understand what it is you want to store and transport across jobsites. Understand your most used tools and establish how high or low you want the wall plates to sit based on commonly used tools and ease of access. Measure the wall to decide whether a Compact or Large Wall plate will be used, and how many are required for future expansion. Then use the correct screws/nails to mount the wall plates on their respective surface.

No, the PACKOUT™ Long Handle Tool Rack delivers strong and secure wall mounting that securely locks into all PACKOUT™ Wall and Mounting Plates. However the Wall Mounting Plates may require studs, plywood, or other hardware for installation.
